Doble R 5 Meses comes from our young and medium-aged vines, situated at an altitude of more than 800 metres above sea level. Its origin, as well as the ageing in barrels and the five months it rests in the bottle, make it a fruity wine with subtle wooden hints, harmoniously integrated and broad from the first taste to the finish.

Nota de cataVisually, it displays a range of red hues with violet undertones, characteristic of its youth. Aromas of ripe red fruits, with subtle spicy notes (licorice, black pepper) and hints of vanilla from its barrel aging. On the palate, it has a smooth entry, with balance and a fleshy texture. Round, soft tannins, well integrated. A pleasant finish with subtle oak nuances. The fruit is the star.

Ficha técnicaMade with Tinto Fino grapes from our medium-aged vineyards. It comes from plots located throughout all our Grandes Parajes, but mainly from ” El Llano ” and ” Bajo Páramo “, characterized by their clay loam soils with pebbles and clay loam with limestone gravel. Average altitude of 840 m. Training methods: bush vines and trellises. Training methods: bush vines and trellises. Mechanically harvested where conditions are optimal. Hand-harvested for the rest. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in temperature-controlled concrete tanks. Aged in French and American oak barrels for 5 months.
